Petr Stach

Petr Stach was born in 1974 in Jablonec nad Nisou. From 1996 to 2001 he studied dramatic art at the Department of Alternative and Marionette Theatre of the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague under the tutelage of Ivan Rajmont. He performed at the Rokoko theatre in the cabaret Sladce a moudře (Sweetly and Wisely, 1998), and since 1999 he has worked for the Minor theatre, where he has appeared in Treasure Island (script and stage direction: A. Goldflam), Planet of the Apes, Vánoce - příběh o narození (Christmas - A Story of Birth), Píseň písní (Song of Songs), Rozum a štěstí (Wisdom and Happiness), etc. In 2005 he performed in the play with musical accompaniment A Survivor of Warsaw to music by Arnold Schönberg, presented in Prague’s Rudolfinum. In the ANPU theatre he enacted Gringoire in The Hunchback of Notre Dame and the Master of Ceremonies in the production of Mesdames & Messieurs, Deburau!, performed in Prague’s Klementinum to mark the 50th anniversary of Czech pantomime (2006).
