He was born in Valašské Meziříčí in 1976. After he completed the secondary school in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm, he moved to Prague and continued in his studies at the Film and TV School of Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU). He started to work as a sound designer in the Studio Dolios in 1998. Then he continued in All in Agency, Cinemasound, and since 2003 he has been a member of the Soundsquare Studio. He acquired his experience as a boom operator and sound re-recording mixer in feature films like: Samotáři (Loners), Jedna ruka netleská (One hand can´t clap), Radhošť (Radhost), Powers and Protektor (Protector). Apart from that he has also worked on many documentaries, commercials and TV programs. In postproduction work he was a sound designer in a lot of commercials, documentaries and Walt Disney series (Aladdin, Little Mermaid, Lloyd in Space), as a dubbing mixer and sound supervisor. Later his postproduction work focuses mainly on music mixing and mastering. He mixed original music score in Dolby Digital for: Ještě žiju s věšákem, plácčkou a čepicí (Still living …) and Gympl (The Can). Mixing music DVDs: Chinaski: Docela obyčejnej den (elected as the best music DVD in the Czech Republic); Kryštof: Ži(v)je; Blue Effect: Live & Life (Anděl Music Award winner - Best Music DVD for the year 2008); MIG 21 & Lelek Orchestra – Naživo. He has mixed and mastered a lot of CDs such as: Precedens a Bára Basiková: Aurora; Kryštof: Ži(v)je; Kryštof: Rubikon (Anděl Music Award nomination for the best sound, Anděl Music Award winner - Band of The Year, Album of The Year, Song of The Year); Priessnitz: Stereo; David Koller: Nic není nastálo (Anděl Music Award nomination – Best Sound; The Ecstasy of Saint Theresa: Watching Black (Anděl Music Award winner – Best Sound); Tata Bojs: Kluci kde jste (Anděl Music Award nomination – Best Sound); Eggnoise: Albumen; Southpaw: Addiction, Alvik: Forms Apart...
